A poor man's latte

I know that everyone loves Starbucks but with the economy being so crappy we can't afford to go have our fav. coffee's every day. So, i am just going to let you in on something i realized. You can make a latte at home that is almost as good as the real thing, almost.
All you need to do is brew your coffee a little stronger than usual, heat up some chocolate in the bottom of your fav. mug and then heat about a fourth a cup of milk in that same mug, then poor the coffee on top and add a ittle cool whip or whipped cream and you can add some cocoa powder on top or crushed peppermints.I experimented and it's pretty dang good to me!

Ooh, that's a good recipe. I'm a coffee freak so I will definitely be trying this recipe. Just so happens I have some peppermints laying around.

That's one trick I know...being a coffee junkie, I have to find creative ways to get my "fix" *U*

That's a good idea! Chocolate in the bottom of a mug. Why didn't I think of that?

We used to get the International House Of Coffee cappucino and mix it with hot chocolate. Or, we'd add a hard candy (orange or any flavored) plus some coffee and a 'lil sugar and creamer.

You'd be amazed at how creative you can be when you are poor...lol!
