Jack has developed a fear of strangers already and he is only 4 and a half months old!Last night I took him to visit some friends and when they tried to hold him and love on him he screamed and cried like he was being killed.This made my lady friends feel bad and they kept trying to make him like them but it only caused more crying from Jack.I felt panicked and tried to make excuses that he was just tired but also I just wanted to grab him and leave because I felt so sad that he was that scared.
I have a picture from last night of him crying in the arms of one of my friends.I will put it up later.Poor Jack,I never knew babies developed fears of strangers at such a young age.

The G-man went through periods like that starting pretty young too. Then he outgrew it, then he went through it again! Not a lot of fun when everyone wants to hold them!
One of my twins was like that. Anyone could hold one of them, but the other one...NO one could touch her. LOL!

I never tried to make my kids go to anyone they weren't comfortable with - even grandparents. I think some fear of people they don't know is a great survival instinct for kids to have.
